Meet our Fellows
Each year, the Lewis-Gibson Visiting Fellowship programme brings to Cambridge distinguished scholars from universities and research institutions across the world. Their work spans disciplines, periods and methodologies, reflecting the breadth and continuing vitality of research on Greece and the Greek world.
The Fellowships are intended not simply to provide time for individual research, but to create opportunities for sustained intellectual exchange: between Fellows and Cambridge scholars, across disciplinary boundaries, and between different academic traditions. In this way, each cohort contributes to a wider international community of research connected through the Centre.
Over time, the programme has brought together a diverse body of scholars whose work extends from antiquity to the contemporary world, and whose visits have helped to deepen scholarly relationships between Cambridge and institutions internationally.
