The Cambridge Centre for Greek Studies is delighted to announce a conference focussed on the linguistic impacts of the Greek language through the ages.

Join us for an enlightening linguistic journey in the history of Greek!

Our program features presentations by Dr. Jo Willmott on "The dynamic optative in Homeric Greek" and Profs. Jerneja Kavčič & Ioanna Sitaridou on "Evolution of the verb ‘can’ in Greek history" which are followed by a talk by the Lewis-Gibson Visiting Fellow Prof. Olga Tribulato's talk on "The sound of Attic: Practices of linguistic imitation in Greek imperial texts," which is co-hosted with the Cambridge Philological Society.
