Jim Aitken, Professor of Hebrew and Early Jewish Studies in the University of Cambridge, died peacefully on 7th April 2023.
Among his many accomplishments and achievements, Jim was a member of the Management Board of the Cambridge Centre for Greek Studies ever since its foundation.
He will be deeply missed as a wonderful colleague and a warm, generous friend.
